Oprah

Today i watched this video for religion extra credit about Oprah's Out of Africa Christmas kindness project. Oprah went to some cities in south Africa and gave the poor kids there presents with clothes, food, shoes, toys, and school supplies.

OLPC means one laptop per child
It is this organization that gives each

The laptops are rugged, low-power,
low-cost so they are good for the kids
living conditions.

Shazam

Yesterday i computer architecture we talked
about Shazam. It is this thing on your cell
phone where it listens to music and then it
tell you the name of the song and who sings
it. If you have an iphone it will also let you
buy the song or see the music video.

TWILIGHT!!

I saw the twilight movie on saturday. It was so good! I hadn't read the book yet before i saw it. I liked the movie ALOT! So then I borrowed the first two books (twilight and new moon) from my friend and read them both over the thanksgiving holidays. They were really good and i can't wait until the next movies come out

Smartpen

I saw a video about this Livescribe Smartpen. It is a pen and you write your notes down but it takes pictures of the notes so you can transfer them to your computer. It also can record your voice so you can listen to your notes.

Chainless Bicycles


I saw this article on CNN.com today about chainless bicycles.
The manufacturer which is Trek is making a production of bicycles
that don't have the chain that always gets caught. They are making
belt driven bikes so you don't have to deal with the chain anymore.
